Welcome MakerS
The Belleville Public Library’s MakerSpace is located in the library’s TeenCenter. Adults, teens and tweens are welcome to access the equipment in the room under supervision.
Teens and Tweens occupy the room between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm for afterschool activities. Adults must make an appointment to access equipment in the room.
Naturally we will have special events and programs that take place as part of the MakerSpace. If you would like to be kept informed about our activities you can check our events calendar or sign up for our mailling list. Contact the library and ask for the TeenCenter for details.
TeenCenter/MakerSpace Equipment
Equipment use in the TeenCenter is supervised by library staff. Teens can stop in after school to use equipment during our regularly scheduled program SteamPunk Engineers.
Adults and teens can make an appointment to use our equipment by contacting the Teen Center at ya@bellepl.org or calling us at 973-450-3434 x110.
Computer Hardware
The Teen Center’s computers are equipped with i7 processors, 16GB RAM, and AMD Radeon W5500 Graphics cards.
They also are equipped with Wacom Cintiq Pro graphic pen displays for use with graphic and 3D modelling applications.
