Thursdays, February 19 and 26, March 5 and 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
Join us in the Belleville Public Library’s Teen Center for a special SteamPunk Engineers workshop.
SewIt will be conducting a free, four-part workshop that walks participants through the process of creating a real piece of clothing. The workshop will begin on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Belleville Public Library’s Teen Center.
SewIt will host the program and provide all the equipment and supplies necessary to complete the project. Ellen Brown will be your instructor, guiding you from pattern to finished product.
This program is intended for older teens and adults. Space is limited, and participants must commit to attending all four sessions, as each class builds upon the previous one. SewIt will provide 10 sewing machines for each workshop and will guide participants through the safe operation of the machines.
Don’t have your own sewing machine? The library has its own sewing machine that you can use in the Teen Center by making an appointment.
